Sydney (Web Desk): The Australian Cricket Board has announced the preliminary squad for the T20 World Cup, with Pat Cummins, Cameron Green, and Cooper Connolly making a return. These three players were not part of the recent series against India.
Cricket Australia’s Chief Selector, George Bailey, announced that this is the preliminary squad and changes can be made if necessary.
The new squad includes Captain Mitchell Marsh, Xavier Bartlett, Tim David, Cooper Connolly, Nathan Ellis, Cameron Green, Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Glenn Maxwell, Matthew Kuhnemann, Matthew Short, Marcus Stoinis, and Adam Zampa.
George Bailey further mentioned that the squad for the upcoming three-match T20 series against Pakistan will be announced later.
