California (Web Desk): Google has introduced its latest artificial intelligence (AI)-driven image generation model, Nano Banana Pro (Gemini 3 Pro Image). The images created by this model are so lifelike that distinguishing between reality and imitation is becoming increasingly difficult.

Nano Banana Pro excels in visual design, informational content, and text rendering, offering new possibilities for creative professionals and business projects. However, experts have raised concerns that this technology could lead to social and ethical issues.

In recent years, there have been multiple incidents of misuse of AI-generated images and videos. For instance, a video in November claimed that journalist Benazir Shah was dancing in a nightclub. The video went viral, garnering millions of views, only to later be revealed as a fake.

AI-generated images use a technique called diffusion, where existing images are broken down into pixels and reassembled. However, this process does not respect copyright and artistic rights, allowing artists' styles and techniques to be used without permission.

The film and advertising industries are also not immune to the effects of AI. At the Marrakesh International Film Festival, actress Jenna Ortega warned that AI-generated content is creating “deep uncertainty.” She noted that there are some things AI can never replicate, such as human emotions, beauty, and the beauty hidden in imperfections.

Experts argue that in a world where people easily believe online content, AI-generated "realistic" images are taking the crisis of authenticity to a new level. It has become crucial for consumers to remain cautious about the authenticity of visual content they encounter.
