As per the PMD, Islamabad and several other cities are expected to experience cold and dry weather, with severe cold in the mountainous areas, especially during the morning and night hours.

Murray, Galyat, and surrounding areas are also expected to witness cold and dry weather. In most districts of Punjab, including Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, and Gujrat, fog and smog are predicted to persist.

Similarly, areas such as Jhelum, Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Sahiwal, Multan, Khanewal, Layyah, Kot Addu, Bahawalpur, and their surrounding regions are likely to experience foggy conditions.

In Sindh, dry weather is expected with increasing cold in the morning and night. Most districts in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will also remain cold and dry. Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are likely to experience severe cold weather with partial cloud cover.

The Meteorological Department has also forecasted rain and snowfall in the northern regions of Gilgit-Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir on December 5 and 6, accompanied by strong winds, which is expected to further intensify the cold.

The public has been advised to take precautionary measures due to the intensity of the weather, particularly during travel, as fog and smog could reduce visibility.
