Gold price increases by Rs3,000, reaches to Rs430,436 per tola in Pakistan

Islamabad (Web Desk): Gold rates recorded a notable jump across Pakistan on Friday, as the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs3,000 per tola, pushing the new rate to Rs430,436, according to the latest figures released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA).

The association also reported an increase in prices for smaller quantities. The cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs2,572 to Rs369,029, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold became Rs2,357 more expensive, reaching Rs338,288.

The rise in domestic prices came alongside gains in the international bullion market, where gold advanced by $30 per ounce to trade at $4,080.

Silver prices also moved upward in the local market. The rate of silver per tola increased by Rs79 to settle at Rs6,294, while the price of 10 grams gained Rs68, taking it to Rs5,396.

On the global market, silver also strengthened, with its value increasing by $0.79 per ounce to reach $58.15, the association said.
