Train catches fire near Sehwan Sharif

Sehwan Sharif (Staff Report): Two bogies of the Khushal Khan Khattak Express caught fire near Sehwan early Saturday morning.

Pakistan Railway sources reported, Peshawar bound train from Karachi reached near Laal Bagh, bogie number 6 caught fire, which later spread to bogies number 7 as well, luckily no loss of life was reported.

According to details, Rangers personnel and Rescue teams reached the site and evacuated passengers immediately from the affected bogies and put out the fire, further rangers have separated the bogies.

Pakistan Railways had not determined the cause of the fire but did claim investigations were underway.

After an unavoidable delay, passengers were shifted to the unaffected bogies and the Khushal Khan Khattak Express was sent on its way.
